I am most proud of the success of my company. I am also very proud of SDMPI's Supplier of the Year and Leadership award since it is voted on by my peers. Also, winning the SDCVB Finest Service Award helped put our company on the map, and winning the San Diego Business Journal/Ken Blanchard "Best Company to work for" award helped verify what I always believed.

Turning point in your life / career:
Turning Point #1 was making a conscious decision not to be a starving artist (actor) and accepting a full time job with a national DMC. Turning Point #2 was opening the Bermuda office for a Nationwide DMC and realizing I had a marketable skill in sales. I built the office from scratch and sold and operated over a million dollars the first year.

Most fulling part of your career:
Keeping my "Team" employed and happy!

Mentor:
His name is Dusty Rhodes and he taught me how to deal with people, to always maintain a positive attitude and that life is too short to pass up a beer on draught.

Best advice for future leaders:
Lead by example and not by intimidation. Not everyone will like you, but if they respect you they will follow you.
